The Ballistic Advantage 5.56 Bolt Carrier Group – DLC (Diamond Like Coating) has an M16 Carrier machined from 8620 Steel and the 5.56 Bolt is machined from Carpenter 9310 Steel. Included is a Tool Steel Extractor and Mil-Spec Extractor Spring with a black insert and Viton O-Ring. The Forged Gas Key is properly staked, the bolt is shot peened as well as HPT tested and MPI inspected. Diamond Like Coating is found on the Carrier, Gas Key, Cam Pin, Bolt and Extractor. The 5.56 BCG is compatible with 5.56/.223 calibers. BA bolt carrier groups are test fired, before shipping, to ensure proper function.
