Firearm Transfer Policy
Thank you for choosing Xtreme Guns & Ammo for your firearm transfer. By arranging for a firearm or NFA item to be shipped to our store, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions.
Transfer Fees
- Standard Firearm Transfer: $40.00 per firearm
- NFA Firearm Transfer: $135.00 per NFA firearm
All transfer fees are due at the time of pickup.
Processing Time
Please allow one (1) business day after your firearm has been delivered for our staff to receive, inspect, and log the firearm into our acquisition records. Once this process has been completed, you may begin the transfer and pickup process.
Please do not arrive for pickup immediately after tracking shows "Delivered."
Background Check & Transfer Fees
All transfer fees are non-refundable. If you are denied during the required federal or state background check, your transfer fee will not be refunded. The transfer fee covers the administrative processing and handling of the firearm regardless of the outcome of the background check.
Returns to the Original Seller
If your firearm must be returned to the original seller for any reason—including, but not limited to, a denied background check, order cancellation, incorrect shipment, or personal preference—you are solely responsible for:
- Coordinating the return with the original seller.
- Obtaining and providing a prepaid return shipping label (if required).
- Paying any applicable return shipping or handling costs not covered by the seller.
Xtreme Guns & Ammo is not responsible for arranging or paying for return shipments.
Transfer Requirements
We only accept firearm transfers from licensed Federal Firearms License (FFL) holders.
We do not accept transfers from private individuals. Any firearm shipped from a non-FFL sender may be refused or returned at the sender's expense.
Agreement to Terms
By having a firearm or NFA item shipped to Xtreme Guns & Ammo, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Firearm Transfer Policy and all associated terms and conditions.
Pickup & Storage
We do not notify customers when a firearm transfer is ready for pickup. It is the customer's responsibility to monitor the tracking information provided by the seller. Please allow one (1) business day after the tracking information shows your firearm has been delivered to Xtreme Guns & Ammo for our staff to receive, inspect, and log the firearm into our acquisition records. You may begin the transfer and pickup process on the next business day following delivery.
Firearms remaining in our possession for more than 30 days after delivery will incur a storage fee of $25.00 per week. All storage fees must be paid before the firearm will be released.
Abandoned Property
Any firearm or NFA item that remains unclaimed for 90 days after it has been made available for pickup will be considered abandoned property, unless prior written arrangements have been made with Xtreme Guns & Ammo.
Abandoned firearms become the property of Xtreme Guns & Ammo, and the customer forfeits any claim to the firearm, transfer fees, deposits, or other related costs, to the extent permitted by applicable federal, state, and local law.
