Like its one piece aluminum double stack grip module and match grade trigger for starters. The 2K11's double Stack grip module is a one-of-a-kind Stan Chen Custom that is custom shaped for superior grip and magazine fit. Furthermore, its steel frame features a railed rail dust cover, perfect for the addition of any optional accessories, like a laser or light. Also, the 2K11 Pistol is available in either 9mm or .45 ACP, which is rare in a double stack 1911 and 2011 pistols. Every 2K11 pistol is optics ready, and is offered in a optics included model with Trijicon SRO included installed from the factory. All 2K11 models come with TAG Custom FiberLok front sight and a C&H Precision mounting plate for Trijicon and Holosun optics, making Kimber's 2K11 Pistol a true masterpiece of modern firearm design.
The Kimber 2K11 is also available in their all new shorter 4.25 inch goverment model, the Kimber 2K11 PRO. This new 2K11 PRO also features a steel sub-frame and steel slide just like the full size 2K11. Also the 2K11 PRO is offered in many new custom finish options and a lighter MJD carbon fiber infused textured double stack grip module instead of the original aluminum double stack grip module.
