Introducing the Desert Tech SRS Covert 6.5 Creedmoor Bullpup Bolt Action Rifle that was designed to replace Desert Tech's tried and true SRS-A1 Covert Rifle System. Don’t Worry all your SRS-A1 barrels and conversion kits will work in the SRS-A2 Covert chassis system. You will also see up to 30% improved accuracy with existing barrels that are used in the new SRS-A2 Covert chassis system. This is due to the new and improved locking system on the Desert Tech SRS-A2 Covert chassis. Furthermore, Desert Tech has shaved a little over 2 lbs off the total rifle weight due to the new SRS chassis and lighter hunter contour barrels. It also has a new bolt design for a much smoother action and to reduced bolt lock up and its adjustable trigger is precisely tuned to have no trigger creep. Also, Desert Tech finally switched their dreaded thread pitch on the SRS barrels, to a standardized 5/8 x 24 TPI.
