Introducing the Tailored Arms Torch, a true custom hand fitted double stack 1911 pistol that pays homage to America's most proven 1911 pistol platform. The Torch Double Stack 1911 Pistol was Inspired by the spirit of Operation Torch, which involved the landing of over 107,000 U.S and British troops during World War II. This Torch DS 1911 was designed to carry forward the legacy of the original fighting pistol, but with a much higher capacity, enhanced ergonomic controls and 100 percent hand-fitted with many details that shooters expect from a true custom build. Every Torch Pistol is machined from a solid block of Hardened 4140 chromoly steel. Its frame and slide are hand fitted and honed to ensure a perfect union. Also, its has a 5 inch V6 ported bull barrel with matche crown to greatly reduce muzzle climb and its slide features a direct mount optics cut to accept any RMR or SRO footprint optic. Furthermore, the Torch has enhanced slide serrations, ambidextrous controls and a one piece contured 7075 aluminum grip module with superior grip texture. All of these features produce a planted, balanced and purpose built pistol from the first to the final shot.

The Tailored Arms Torch DS 1911 Pistol is detailed with intent, featuring a high-polished barrel ramp and breech face, tool less guide rod, a 9 pound recoil spring, tuned 15 pound mainspring, tactical Magwell, built-in thumb rests and a crisp 2 pound custom trigger. This is not a production pistol dressed up to look custom, the Torch is a custom hand fitted double stack 1911 pistol that was created to honor the past while delivering modern control, capacity and refinement that you would expected from a Tailored Arms pistol.
