The all new Kimber CDS9 Optics Ready (OL) pistol is the next generation of the Classic Micro 9 with a higher capacity of 15+1 rounds. Chambered in 9mm, the CDS9, double-stack, 1911 influenced carry pistol, is the most capable, compact, hammer-fired, fully ambidextrous high-capacity handgun Kimber has ever offered. Since releasing the CDS9 pistol, Kimber has refined the manufacturing processes to deliver this handgun with exceptional cost savings. Sporting a flat faced, single-action trigger, along with the external hammer, provides a trigger feel closer to a compact 1911 than to a typical striker-fired pistol. Kimber's CDS9 combines a beavertail-equipped alloy frame with the reversible magazine release, ambidextrous thumb safety and a Picatinny style rail to hold a compact weapon light. Additionally, the slide is serrated and cut for an optic to allow the installation of a compatible micro red-dot sight. Kimber's CDS9 is the pinnacle of performance and an EDC Masterpiece. Kimber offers the CDS9, aluminum frame pistol, in a choice of Black or Stainless finish with one 15 round and one 13 round magazine, or a Black finish with two 10 round magazines.
