The Laugo Arms Alien Retro Kit, chambered in 9mm, is a competition inspired pistol created for shooters demanding cutting edge technology, exceptional recoil control, and premium fit and finish. Laugo designed the Retro Kit to comply with the rules of IPSC Production Optics division and other competitive classes that require the optic reciprocate with the slide. A combination of the fixed, 4.8 inch barrel, gas-piston delayed blowback operating system and an extremely low bore axis on every Laugo Alien, reduces muzzle rise for faster, more controlled follow-up shots. Using an innovative, non-reciprocating top rail, the sighting system remains stationary while the pistol cycles, unlike conventional striker-fired pistols with a reciprocating slide-mounted optic.This design makes the Alien an outstanding platform for shooters wanting a refined, red-dot ready 9mm pistol with precise sight tracking and reduced optic stress. Marrying all of these features results in a purpose built race gun with fast follow up shots, controllable recoil impulse and refined handling that shooters expect for elite competition pistols, making the Laugo Alien stand apart from traditional service pistols and 2011-style handguns. Laugo offers the Alien Standard Retro Kit Pistol in a Duotone Black and Green finish with a choice of 17 round or 10 round magazines and a threaded or non-threaded barrel.
