Shadow Systems AXIO is a 9mm, full-size pistol platform, engineered from the ground up around an all-steel chassis. Shadow's AXIO represents a clean-sheet project centered on first principles of handgun performance, Mass distribution, geometry, recoil management and control. Placing weight where it is most effective, with the precision machined steel chassis at the core, the AXIO's performance is exceptional with balance, rigidity and a precise slide-frame fit. Available is a 4.4 inch configuration, shooters will enjoy a longer sight radius and enhanced controllability. AXIO's Overstroke Slide System is central to the pistol's performance by increasing slide travel and dwell time to manage recoil impulse and support consistent operation across various ammunition and missions. Sporting an Octagon Barrel that is multi-faceted and geometry engineered to balance strength, weight and durability to contribute to consistent lockup and predictable handling.

Shadow Systems AXIO introduces Shadow Systems' next gen trigger system that delivers a smooth, consistent pull and a crisp break. Pull characteristics are tuned by configuration, while remaining fully drop-safe and suitable for duty use. Shadow System's AXIO models include a 4 pound trigger, while AXIO Pro models use a refined 2.5 pound pull. Every AXIO design choice was made to elevate how the pistol shoots and how confident the shooter feels behind it, as ergonomics were a primary design focus. Interchangeable side grip panels, in textured polymer on the AXIO and machined steel on the AXIO PRO, are also featured and a low-profile slide release reduces interference while maintaining positive operation. Optics ready, and able to support modern pistol optics while maintaining co-witness with iron sights, both the AXIO and AXIO Pro are compatible with aftermarket sights and modern accessories. Shadow System's provides a choice Black or Bronze finish and 18 round or 10 round magazines on the AXIO 4.4 Pistol.
