Additionally, the ZEV FDP is lightweight as it is crafted from impact/crush resistant Magpul polymer on the outside and precision steel internally, ensuring longevity and resilience, even in the harshest conditions. Accessory mounting is supported with the 1913 Picatinny rail that accommodates optics, tactical lights and any other mission-critical accessories, allowing for individual customization. Accuracy and fast shots under pressure are enhanced with Magpul's high performance trigger and Zev's proprietary fire control group, along with ambidextrous controls that include a reversible magazine release and charging handle. Also featured is the folding stock that locks securely for stowage, but can be deployed instantly so shot opportunities are never missed.

ZEV offers the FDP (Folding Defensive Platform) in a pistol model as well as a carbine/SBR model. Each of these cater to both civilian and professionals and share the same core folding architecture.
