Aero Precision’s CAGE (Concussion Altering Gas Expansion) Device has a primary task to disrupt side concussion as it enhances the characteristics of the Gamma and Epsilon series of muzzle devices. Using a close wrap fit, instead of a large tubular construction, the CAGE distributes the gases in a manner that is conducive to muzzle control and concussion disruption. Utilizing a series/pattern of small holes in the side of the CAGE, it moves over the chambers of the Gamma and Epsilon devices which helps the gasses to expand energy uniformly. This action slows the gasses down, while they move through the porting, and disrupts the horizontal concussion. In turn, this allows the muzzle brake to have more time to influence the gas escape through all the ports. An extremely smooth recoil and zero muzzle flip is accomplished by “bleeding off energy” instead of abruptly losing energy.
