The New B&T M.A.R.S. (Miniature Assault Rifle Suppressor) keeps the noise signature under 140db threshold for both the 5.56 and 7.62mm calibers that it was created for. Developed on feedback from special forces, on experiences in Iraq and Afghanistan, the M.A.R.S is the new standard in small, light and effective assault rifle suppressors. In addition, it prevents the shooter being spotted, because it drastically reduces muzzle flash, thanks to the “multi-Y” designed endcap.
B&T’s M.A.R.S Suppressor is available in two models; the DM (direct mounted) and the QD (quick detach). The DM model is the lightests and shortest assault rifle silencer manufactured by B&T. Screwing directly on to a threaded muzzle, the need for a dedicated mounting system is removed, and it is 300 grams lighter and 50mm shorter than flash suppressors with a mounting system. The QD model attaches to a proprietary flash hider and secures automatically to the notches. Removal of the QD is a one hand operation that takes less than five seconds. The mounting system, inside the falsh hider, consists of a rachet pod and a spring, the quickest detachable mounting system on the market.
