This CMMG Dissent Br3 8.6 BLK delivers harder hitting terminal ballistics than the 300 BLK, without the need for a full size rifle length barrel. Sporting a 16.1 inch 4140 chrome-moly barrel, with a nitride finish, and a quick 1:3 barrel twist, this Dissent is optimized for top performance with subsonic and supersonic loads. Built around CMMG's patented Compact Action direct-impingement operating system, the need for a traditional AR buffer tube is eliminated, while keeping a DI bolt carrier sized for AR10/SR25 pattern calibers. Intended to deliver significantly more terminal energy that 300 BLK, the 8.6 BLK still performs extremely well from shorter and mid-length barrels and is compatible with AR10/SR25 magazines.

All CMMG Dissent Br3 8.6 BLK model uppers are machined from 7075-T6 Aluminum, with BR3 billet 7075-T6 aluminum receivers. Including a carbine-length gas system, the CMMG Dissent Br3 8.6 BLK is paired with a 0.750 inch adjustable gas block providing tuning for suppressed or unsuppressed use. Recoil, and muzzle movement, reduction is possible at the muzzle with 5/8X24 threads and CMMG's ZEROED muzzle brake that provides an interface for suppressors and other devices. Ambidextrous operation is excellent with the ZEROED ambidextrous magazine release, reversible side-charging handle and reversible cross-bolt safety making CMMG's Dissent Br3 the perfect firearm for all shooters.
