The CMMG Dissent Mk17 9mm SBR is built on a PDW-style platform and set to run M17/M18/P320 magazines, offering the ability to share mags with a duty or carry gun. CMMG's Dissent M17 is a short, maneuverable carbine suited for CQB, vehicle work or suppressed use, crafted around their radial delayed blowback Compact Action. This delayed system allows for a lighter BCG and softer recoil impulse than found on straight-blowback PCCs, and stays tolerant of a wide range of 9mm loads from light subsonic to hot +P. Additionally, with a recoil system that is self-contained in the carrier, no AR style buffer tube is needed. CMMG has fitted each Mk17 9mm SBR with a rear 1913 Picatinny rail end cap, instead of a traditional receiver extension, allowing for a folding type stock. By deleting the traditional receiver extension and buffer tube, the Dissent Mk17 SBR delivers a short overall length while staying compatible with AR style controls and furniture. Running with a 6.5 inch or a 10.5 inch 4140 Chrome-Moly barrel with a SBN finish, along with a CMMG ZEROED linear compensator on 1/2X28 threads, these SBRs will partner with standard muzzle devices or suppressors. Additionally every Mk17 9mm SBR includes a ZEROED 60/90 degree safety, an integrated trigger guard, ZEROED pistol grip and a drop-in single-stage trigger.
