The CMMG Dissent Mk3 8.6 BLK SBR is a hard hitting short to medium range gun, built on CMMG's AR10 size Dissent model. Structured on CMMG's Compact Action Radial Delayed Blowback system, this weapon is buffer-less as the recoil system in contained in the upper with no receiver extension or traditional buffer tube. Every Dissent Mk3 SBR uses AR10/SR25 pattern mags and BCG, with 6.5 Creedmoor as the parent case, necked up to .338 projectiles. Partnering well with subsonic or supersonic .338 caliber bullets, an Mk3 SBR is perfect for hunting or defense. Sporting a fast 1:3 twist, 12.5 inch 4140 CM Nitride barrel, in an MT contour, the pistol-length gas system and adjustable 0.750 gas block allow for custom tuning for suppressed and unsuppressed loads.

Each CMMG Dissent Mk3 8.6 BLK SBR is engineered with a Dissent Mk3 7075-T6 aluminum monolithic-style upper with a Compact Action and forward, reversible non-reciprocating side charging handle. A Billet Mk3 7075-T6 lower, with an integrated trigger guard and CMMG ZEROED controls, round out this SBR. Additionally, an 11 inch proprietary MLOK handguard is present and a full-length top Picatinny rail has been added to accommodate optics and accessories. CMMG's Dissent side‑folding B5 Systems Modular Platform Stock offers a multi-position length of pull and an adjustable cheek riser supporting a compact fold and carbine-like ergonomics when deployed. Shooters will enjoy a CMMG ZEROED pistol grip and ZEROED drop in, single-stage trigger. Each CMMG Dissent Mk3 8.6 BLK SBR is available in a choice of seven Cerakote finishes.
