Shipped as a pistol, with no rear furniture, the DISSENT eliminates the buffer tube recoil system, CMMG has replaced it with their patent-pending Compact Action that houses the entire action in the upper receiver. Additionally, different loadings are possible for specific uses, the adjustable gas block will fine tune the gas system to suit the supersonic or subsonic ammo loadings. Accessories can be added as the rear of the lower receiver features a 1913 Picatinny rail end plate that is ready to be customized to each shooter's preference. CMMG offers the Dissent Mk3 300 BLK with either a 16.1 inch barrel or a 14.5 inch Pinned and Welded Barrel that offers the shortest overall length possible outside of a SBR. Every Dissent rifle also includes the Dissent side folding stock with adjustable length of pull and adjustable cheek riser, along with a non-reciprocating charging handle for quick and easy manipulation while staying on target. An M-LOK handguard, with top Picatinny rail gives plenty of mounting space for a variety of accessories.
