The CMMG Dissent Mk4 300BLK Pistol Pistol is an ultra-compact, buffer-less AR Pattern PDW that utilizes a self-contained Compact Action recoil system. All Dissent Mk4 300BLK pistol models are built on the same core concept with a side-charging upper, rear 1913 rail and then are configured into different barrel lengths/gas configurations and handguard lengths. Need for a traditional buffer tube is eliminated with CMMG's patent-pending Compact Action, and each model is a direct-impingement, AR15 pattern firearm with AR controls, and the buffer-less design shortens the overall length and opens up rear 1913 mounting for braces, folders or stocks where legal. Additionally, a forward, non-reciprocating, left-side charging handle assists in staying on target without breaking the cheek weld. Compatibility for fire control and magazines is maintained on the MK4 300 BLK with the Dissent pattern 7075-T6 aluminum upper partnered with the Mk4 forged 7075-T6 lower. CMMG offers the Mk4 300 BLK pistol with a choice of a 6.5 inch, 10.5 inch, 14.5 inch (P&W) or 16.1 inch, 4140 Chrome-Moly barrels, threaded 5/8X24 and shipped with CMMG Zeroed linear compensators, or similar muzzle devices.
