Striving to emulate the sub or supersonic versatility on the 300 BLK cartridge, this 338 ARC offers more energy on target and less gas system tuning when moving from suppressed to unsuppressed shooting. Maximizing parts compatibility, every Mk3 338 ARC utilizes the same bolt as the 6.5 Grendel AR15, and for those who like to load their own ammo, the CMMG 338 ARC Barrels feature a slower 1:8 twist rate that allows the use of more traditional .338 caliber projectiles. Purpose-built for hard hitting subsonic performance, the .338 Advanced Rifle Cartridge delivers 1.5 times more energy than the .300 Blackout subsonic, engineered to cycle the AR action fully suppressed or not. Adding to the Dissent modifiable design, the stock folds and adjusts for a wide range of lengths to accommodate shooters of all heights and builds. CMMG's patented Compact Action Operating system is the heart of the Dissent, and the bolt carrier group is mounted on dual guide rods to allow the entire action to be housed in the upper receiver. Making the rifle short and easy to transport is accented with the lack of a buffer tube and shooters can shoot from the hip!
