The CMMG Dissent Mk4 5.56MM SBR is a compact, bufferless AR pattern Short Barreled Rifle that employs CMMG's compact action with Radial Delayed Blowback. By deleting the traditional receiver extension and buffer tube, the Dissent MK4 SBR offers the short overall length wile staying compatible with AR style controls and furniture. Running with a 6.5 inch barrel with a pistol length gas system or a 10.5 inch barrel with a carbine-length gas system, they both sport a non-adjustable 0.750 gas block for precision tuning with or without a suppressor. Additionally, both models ship with a CMMG ZEROED linear compensator on 1/2X28 threads to partner with standard muzzle devices or suppressors. Additional features on every Mk4 5.56 SBR include a ZEROED 60/90 degree safety, an integrated or ZEROED trigger guard, ZEROED pistol grip and a drop-in single-stage trigger. CMMG has engineered this Dissent on the Mk4 platform with a Dissent 7075-T6 aluminum upper and forged 7075-T6 lower with a forward, non-reciprocating, reversible side-charging handle along with a proprietary M-LOK handguard with a full-length top Picatinny rail to add optics and accessories.
