The CMMG Dissent Mk4 5.7X28 Pistol has changed the way shooters look at Personal Defense Weapons by eliminating the need for a buffer tube, and employing their patent-pending Compact Action that operates hand in hand with CMMG's Radial Delayed Blowback operating system. Engineered with a 6.5 inch, medium taper, 4140 Chrome Moly compact barrel, the overall length of this firearm is approximately 15-16 inches with a 5.5 inch free-float proprietary M-LOK handguard covering the barrel. Recoil and muzzle movement are mild on this 5.7x28 pistol, with the partnership of the short barrel and delayed blowback system. Additionally, the barrel is finished with a nitride/SBN treatment protecting it from corrosion and wear resistance. Ambidextrous controls, safety selector and magazine catch, along with a pronounced polymer brass deflector, are included to keep the ejection away from the shooter. A 1913 Picatinny rail end cap, on the rear of each Dissent Mk4, assists with attaching a brace or stock, instead of a receiver extension. Other features included on this Mk4 5.7x28 pistol are a forward, ambidextrous, non-reciprocating side charging handle, CMMG ZEROED pistol grip and trigger guard, optic-ready Picatinny top rail and 1/2x28 muzzle threads that are compatible with common 5.56 pattern muzzle devices and other 5.7 rated suppressors.
