The CMMG Dissent Mk4 5.7X28 SBR is an ultra-compact, bufferless AR pattern PDW that employs CMMG's compact action with Radial Delayed Blowback. By deleting the traditional receiver extension and buffer tube, the Dissent MK4 SBR offers the short overall length wile staying compatible with AR style controls and furniture. Running with a 6.5 inch, 4140 Chrome-Moly SBN treated barrel, this SBR is optimized for lightweight, high-velocity 5.7 projectiles that are common in defensive and sporting loads. This Dissent Mk4 5.7x28 SBR accepts FN (Five-SeveN) pattern pistol magazines to deliver the ultimate degree of cross-compatibility and the patent pending Radial Delayed Blowback action uses cammed, angled bolt lugs, along with an internal recoil spring system, to slow bolt opening, soften recoil impulse and improve suppressed action compared to the straight blowback 5.7 builds. Additional features include a ZEROED 60/90 degree safety, an integrated or ZEROED trigger guard, ZEROED pistol grip and a drop-in single-stage trigger. This small and lightweight 5.7 round was originally designed to maximize carrying capacity while delivering rifle-like ballistic performance and is right at home in the Dissent, providing capable ballistics with very little felt recoil.
