The CMMG Dissent Mk47 7.62X39 SBR is a marriage of carbine performance and a compact package, utilizing CMMG's Compact Action and a short, 12.5 in barrel. This action is bufferless, with a shortened carrier that is tailored to the CMMG Dissent family. Employing an overbuilt Mk47 "PowerBolt" system, along with a .308-sized bolt face, this SBR will handle 7.62X39 pressures and steel-case ammo while maintaining durability. Partnering with standard AK47-pattern rock and lock magazines, the feed-angle and reliability issues that are common with AR-pattern 7.62X39 mags, is avoided. Additionally, the carbine-length gas system with an adjustable 0.750 gas block, allows for customized tuning across unsuppressed and suppresses loads. Engineered with a 12.5 inch, threaded 5/8X24, 4140 Chrome-Moly barrel with SBN finish and 1:10 twist, CMMG has also included a ZEROED linear compensator on every Dissent Mk47 SBR.

Each CMMG Dissent Mk47 7.62X39 SBR upper and lower is machined from mid-size billet 7075-T6 aluminum, scaled between AR15 and AR10, specifically for 7.62X39, retaining standard AR style controls for familiar handling. A rear 1913 Picatinny rail, with the Dissent side‑folding B5 Systems Modular Platform Stock, offers multi-position length of pull and an adjustable cheek riser. No buffer or receiver extension is needed as the 1913 end cap serves as the stock mounting interface. A forward non-reciprocating, reversible side charging handle allows the shooter to run the gun without coming off the optic or breaking their firing grip. Shooters will enjoy the 11 inch proprietary M-LOK handguard, with full-length top Picatinny rail, offering plenty of real estate for accessories, along with the CMMG ZEROED pistol grip, ZEROED drop in, single-stage trigger and integrated trigger guard.
