The CMMG Dissent Mk57 5.7X28 Pistol is a compact PDW (Personal Defense Weapon) that combines CMMG's patent pending Compact Action along with their Radial Delayed Blowback operating system. This partnership, on the Mk57 platform lower, gives shooters a system that is hard to beat! Offering the ultimate degree of cross compatibility, this Mk57 pistol accepts FN (Five SeveN) pattern pistol magazines. Combining all of these features eliminates the need for a buffer tube, provides soft recoil and makes for a very short, PDW style package. Every Dissent Mk57 offers a 6.5 inch 4140 chrome-Moly steel barrel with a 1:9 twist, a CMMG ZEROED linear compensator and 1/2X28 threads that support muzzle devices or suppressors. Additionally, this Dissent includes forged 7075‑T6 aluminum Mk57 lowers, paired with Dissent 7075‑T6 aluminum uppers, and a rear 1913 Picatinny rail end cap allowing for easy attachment of braces or stocks. Also included on every Mk57 5.7X28 firearm is a forward, non-reciprocating, charging handle, a CMMG Zeroed pistol grip, an integrated trigger guard, along with an ambidextrous 60/90 degree safety.
