The HK G36 .22 LR Rifle, the newest rimfire, semi-automatic member of the HK family, is modeled after Heckler and Koch's Iconic G36 assault rifle. HK's combat-proved G36 still serves relentlessly today, since adopted by the German Bundeswehr in 1997 and has set the standard that most modern rifles emulate. HK has partnered with Umarex of Germany, once again, to deliver this new rimfire version of the original G36 that provides the ability to fire with a folded stock, has modular furniture, a short throw selector along with the trail-blazing use of polymer. This cost effective, state of the art weapon is simple to carry, operate and maintain, providing a light weight-ness with uncompromising reliability. Maneuverable when deployed, even in confined spaces, shooters will enjoy the low recoil on this G36 that is present in all fire modes. Crafted with fully ambidextrous controls, this weapon utilizes a short stroke gas piston operating system that does not impart hot carbon fouling back into the action. This feature make the G36 run cleaner longer with less maintenance and less wear on internal components. Additional features on every G36 .22LR include an M-LOK, Mil STD 1913, retractable stock, pistol grip with storage compartment, adjustable flip-up sights, a 90 degree manual safety, functional dust cover, last round bolt-hold open and a threaded muzzle. This HK G36 is a great rifle for training and recreational use and HK ships this rifle with either one 10 round or one 20 round magazine.
