The Volquartsen VF-ORYX 17 HMR Rifle is the ultimate, precision semi-automatic firearm. Engineered on a CNC-machined stainless steel receiver, every VF-ORYX 17 HMR features an integral 20 MOA rail and a Snake Fluted Barrel that is threaded into the receiver, providing increased rigidity between the barrel and the action. Additionally, a CNC-machined bolt includes a titanium round firing pin and a tuned extractor to improve performance and function. Shooters will enjoy the TG2000 trigger group that delivers a crisp, clean 2.25 pound trigger pull and pretravel as well as overtravel are user-adjustable to the shooter's preference on every Volquartsen VF-ORYX 17 HMR Rifle.

Volquartsen's VF-ORYX 17 HMR is set into the ORYX Chassis from MDT. ORYX is a one-piece aircraft grade aluminum setup, from the forend to the buttpad, created to improve the consistency and accuracy of the rifle. Each ORYX chassis makes the rifle perfect for shooting from a bench, bipod or a prone position. Also, sporting a free floating barrel, contoured forend grip, adjustable cheek riser and over-molded pistol grip, the VF-ORYX is more comfortable than the original ORYX chassis.
