Integrating a plethora of optimized features, the 828U Field includes Benelli's patented steel locking system - a steel plate that absorbs all shot pressure at the mono-block - protecting both the receiver and hinge pins and prolonging the life of the shotgun. Designed with a lightweight aluminum receiver, that has been paired with an AA-grade satin walnut stock, the 828U is perfectly balanced making for a fatigue free carry during all-day hunts. Additionally, the Progressive Comfort recoil system, built into the buttstock, uses internal polymer buffers to tame recoil, promote faster follow-up shots and is tuned to adjust performance based on shell load strength. Shooters will enjoy the exclusive stock shim system that allows customizing drop and cast, along with fine tuning fit and point of impact to each persons preference. Also included is a compact removable trigger group, an innovative barrel-contained and impulse-activated ejector system that eliminates complex linkages for a streamlined build.
