Dark Forge's Reaper has a ultra smooth hand lapped steel frame and slide, as well as their patent pending five inch monolithic compensated barrel. Its hand lapped slide-frame and compensated barrel are designed to cycle ultra fast with virtually no muzzel rise. Furthermore, the D.F. Reaper has a pinned backstrap safety and a super crisp 2-2.5 lb flat blade trigger that has almost no takeup and delivers a ultra clean break. Its slide is CNC machined to accept direct slide mounting of any trijicon RMR or SRO optic, as well as any optic that shares the same foot print. So no need to purcase expensive and hard to find aftermarket optics plates. You simply mount the optic directly to the slide for a stronger bond. Also, the slide has enhanced top and side serrations for unmatched grip-ability and slide control. It's steel frame is also outfitted with a fully CNC machined alumunium double stack grip module that accepts both Double stack 1911 and 2011 Magazines.
