The all new HK VP9A1 Kompact (OR) Pistol is the next generation of VP9s. Chambered in 9mm and sporting a 4.09 inch barrel, HK's VP9 handguns are known to make shooters better than before! Backed by reports from law enforcement, qualifying scores improved once the VP9 was adopted. Upgrades on HK's VP9A1 models include an improved trigger, grip frame and controls, that work together for improved performance. This compact pistol is equipped with an optics-ready cut with cap, the slides are high strength steel with a carbon-nitride corrosion resistant finish and a serrated surface on the frame provides a tactile reference point. Additionally, the nickel-Teflon coated trigger bar provides a smoother pull and cleaner break, and the higher grip saddle lowers the bore axis for quicker target acquisition, less felt recoil and faster follow up shots. Every VP9A1 includes a full set of interchangeable backstraps and side panels, making customization possible to each shooter.

Each HK VP9A1 Kompact (OR) Pistol includes a take down lever that remains locked until the magazine is removed, then the slide can be removed without pulling the trigger. Another unique feature on the HK VP9A1 is the heavy duty extractor that functions as a loaded chamber indicator. HK offers the VP9A1 Compact Optics Ready pistol with a choice of magazines that include two 15 round or two 10 round magazines, colors include black and midnight bronze along with one model that is California Compliant.
