The SIG Sauer P229/P228 9mm Threaded Pistol Barrel is the perfect upgrade or replacement barrel for Sig’s P229 firearms chambered in 9mm. The P229 9mm barrel allows attachment of a suppressor or other muzzle device. It has a thread pitch of 13.5X1LH and a cap to protect the end when no device is attached. Replacing the barrel is easy and convenient, be sure the weapon is unloaded, remove the slide from the receiver and grip module, slide out the existing barrel and replace it with the P229 barrel. All Sig Sauer P229 replacement barrels are heat treated for toughness and durability.
