POF-USA Firearms are equipped with their patented E2 dual-extraction technology. Four channels cut into the walls of the chamber allow a small amount of gas pressure to push against the neck of the spent case. This pressure helps in extraction by breaking the seal between the chamber and case as it pushes the spent case to the rear, while the extractor also pulls to the rear. This reduces the work that would be left up to the extractor.
