The PWS UXR Elite 16.1 inch Rifle (7.62x39) is Primary Weapon Systems' brand new modular long stroke, gas piston rifle. This new UXR Rifle features PWS's new X-change barrel system and revolutionary interchangeable lower receiver, giving the shooter the ability to change the PWS UXR 7.62x39 Rifle to 223, 300 Blackout, 6.5 CM, 308 Win and the sledge hammer, 8.6 Blackout round. Their UXR Nitride barrels feature an evacuation chamber and a modified version of their proven long stroke gas piston system. This evacuation chamber is designed to greatly reduce gas blowback, run the weapon cleaner and reduce overall recoil and efficiency. Additionally, a three way adjustable gas piston system allows the shooter to increase or decrease gas pressure to adapt it for normal or suppressor use. Each ambidextrous UXR receiver is machined from a solid block of billet, and is designed to quickly switch receivers when converting to different calibers. Furthermore, UXR Elite rifles are equipped with the PWS folding stock offering an adjustable cheek and length of pull, along with the knuckle that can be folded to either side.
