Dead Air Nomad LTI XC
The Dead Air Nomad LTI XC virtually disappears on the rifle until it is needed. This ultra-lightweight silencer is engineered of fully-welded Grade 5 Titanium and delivers exceptional performance for magnum calibers and firing schedules. Mirroring the Nomad TI, the Nomad LTI XC is compatible with Dead Air’s R-Series mounts, making it versatile and adaptable to various hosts. Every Nomad LTI is further enhanced by the weight savings that makes it easy to travel without losing supreme silence. Although titanium is not the silencer material to use on a machine gun or for mag dumps, it is incredibly strong, but is susceptible to erosion at extreme temperatures as it reaches and exceeds 800 degrees F. Dead Air recommends that shooters limit rapid-fire usage to 1 to 2 mags and then allow one minute of cool down per mag used, to minimize operating at extreme temps. Additional time may be needed if multiple sequences of mags are fired to avoid a steady heat ramp from occurring.
Every Dead Air Nomad LTI XC features a two-chamber baffle design that bleeds off excess pressure inside the silencer with extremely reduced first round pop. Additionally, the Nomad series of silencers is compatible with Dead Air R-Series front caps and accessories and optimal tactile tooling features make changing mounts and adapters easy, even when the can is dirty.
