A consistent, crisp break on the trigger is provided with the striker-direct action and the flat "X" style trigger and the XL length format, a mere 6.6 inches overall, is equipped with a full firing grip module even with the micro-compact/EDC footprint. Additionally, the 'comp' configuration on this P365XL, uses a two port expansion chamber for recoil mitigation, venting gas upward to reduce muzzle flip and felt recoil by 30%, depending on the load. An XL size grip module offers a longer backstrap, generous beavertail and mild Magwell flare that also adds to the control and facilitates easier reloads. Sporting Sig's XRay3 Day/Night sights in a rear sight/optic plate arrangement supports direct mounting of micro red dots, and every Sg P365 XL Comp ships with two 12 round or two 10 round steel magazines.
