This latest LWRC IC MK2 Rifle features LWRCi’s new – M-LOK handguard, 2 way butterfly gas piston system and REPR MKII inspired machining on both the upper and lower receiver. The IC-MKII’s M-LOK handguard is longer than the original IC A5’s Handguard and features machined holes on both sides of the rail for switching the gas system from normal to suppressed. Furthermore, its new M-LOK Handguard can be removed by loosing the two handguard screws located at the rear of the handguard next to the receiver. This makes it extremely easy to clean and maintain the gas piston system. Also, the longer M-LOK Handguard is much easier to add accessories, no need for hard to find proprietary rails. This LWRC IC MKII Rifle is outfitted with LWRC’s own Spiral Fluted cold hammer forged barrel with 1/7 twist. The nicorr barrel treatment last twice as long as a chrome lining and is a much smoother more accurized barrel finish. LWRCi’s Spiral fluted Barrel is designed to increase barrel rigidity, improve barrel cooling and lighten the over all barrel weight by over twenty percent. Also, the LWRC IC MK2 Rifle features a stronger mono forged upper receiver and a fully ambidextrous lower receiver that has derived its stylish design from their latest LWRC REPR MNKII Platform. Last but not least, the IC MK2’s gas piston system reduces overall felt recoil by 25 percent, and is designed to redirect all the hot dirty fowling gas under the handguard, instead of in the upper receiver.
