All new LWRC IC-MKII SBR Tungsten in 5.56, LWRC Internationals all new flagships AR-15 Gas Piston Short Barrel Rifle that was designed to replace LWRCi’s tried and true LWRC IC-A5 SBR. The LWRC IC-MK2 SBR has many upgrades over LWRC IC-A5 SBR, like a longer M-LOK handguard, Stronger Mono forged Upper and Lower Receivers and new butterfly style adjustable gas key. Its new M-LOK Handguard can easily be removed, simply loosen the two screws at the base of the hand guard and it slides off. Also, it uses the same two way Adjustable Gas Piston System found on the IC-A5, but with the new butterfly style adjustment key that can be accessed through the machined holes in its M-Lok Handguard.

The LWRC IC-MKII SBR Tungsten comes with LWRCi’s ultra strong one piece bolt carrier, featuring rear ward relief cuts designed for water submersion. This one piece bolt carrier is Nickle Boron coated for increased lubricity and ease of cleaning. Also, its rearward relief cuts allow water and to debris to pass through the upper receiver with out destroying the firearm, when fired with water in the barrel and receiver, making it perfect for water born missions. Furthermore, Only the 12.7 inch MK2 SBR features LWRCi’s spiral fluted barrel, their 10.5 inch SBR comes with their none fluted heavy barrel. LWRC’s spiral fluted barrel is designed to rapidly dissipate heat and reduce overall barrel weight by over 20 percent, and the spiral fluting adds barrel rigidity. All LWRC Barrels are Nicor treated, this barrel treatment more than doubles the life expectancy of the barrel over traditional chrome lined barrels, and is a more accurized than chrome lining as well. Also, the IC MK2 SBR is outfitted with LWRCi’s Ambidextrous lower receiver and new Mono-forged Upper receiver that is machined to mimic the LWRC REPR MKII Series Rifles.
