The Benelli 828U Steel Over/Under is the newest addition to this family of shotguns. Marrying the traditional Over/Under style with advanced engineering, then elevating it to the next technological level, is the definition of the new 828U Steel Shotgun. Making a mark on the shotgun scene with the innovative and patented steel lock plate, it locks to the back of the barrel to contain shot shell pressure and prevents it from transferring to the receiver. This in turn eliminates wear and tear on the receiver and hinge that most O/U platforms incur.

Every Benelli 828U Steel is engineered with a steel receiver, instead of aluminum, adding a small bit of weight to help mitigate recoil when heavier loads are used. A subtle balance shift, for smoother swings is offered, even on fast crossing shots. Benelli offers the 828U Steel with the BE.S.T. surface treatment to the barrels, receiver and lock plate. This priority coating adds superior corrosion and abrasion resistance, making the 828U Steel practically impervious to harsh environments. Adorned with an exquisite AA Grade Satin Walnut Stock and Forend, a satin receiver, and gloss barrels makes this as beautiful as it is functional. Also included shooters will enjoy the Progressive Comfort System contained within the Walnut Stock. These three-stage recoil buffers provide comfortable recoil mitigation to match light to magnum loads. Additionally, impulse-activated ejectors, a removable trigger group and 40 point drop and cast adjustability for a custom fit complete this amazing weapon.
