Staccato – XC/XL Review
Staccato has 2 flagship 2011 Race Guns, the XC and XL. First is their flagship 2011 XC 9mm pistol with a 5 inch one piece compensated barrel and a host optics cut slide that accepts the most popular optics on the market. Their XC has a steel frame and slide that are finished in all black DLC, its slide features X-series serrations and the XC is outfitted with a perfectly hand tuned 2.5 lb trigger with a ultra crisp-clean trigger pull. Second is the Staccato XL, it offers the longest barrel avaliable in their line, avaliable with either a 5.4 inch bull barrel or a 6 inch threaded bull barrel version for the easy addition of any suppressor or compensator. Just like the XC, the XL also has a steel frame and slide, host optics cut, X-series serrations and a custom tunned 2.5 lb trigger. Both the XC and XL come with optics plates, fiber optic front sight and T.A.S II Rear sight. Both the XC and XL deliver extreme accuracy, the XC with its comp and the XL with its longer barrel. So it basically boils down to, if you want a comp or not and barrel length. Either way, you cant go wrong with either option.
Staccato – P Review
Built to protect and serve, Staccato’s P series is designed for law enforcement, military and our protectors of freedom. This 2011 P has a steel frame and slide that is built for the rigorous demands of duty. It is also a host optics ready model that will accept all of the most poular optics on the market, via optional optics plates. Also, its custom tunned 4-4.5 lb clean trigger break is perfect for duty and the range. Furthermore, the P can be ordered with a 4.4 inch bull barrel or a longer 5 inch threaded bull barrel to accommodate any pistol suppressor or compensator. Still not enough? Do you want the best of the best? If so the P limited Comp is the perfect choice. This limited edition pistol has all the options, X Series Cuts, 5 inch Threaded DLC Barrel, ICE COMP, 3.5 Lb Trigger, TAC Texture Grips and is optics ready!
Staccato – CS/C Review VS C2
The Staccato C, CS and C2 are double stack 2011 carry pistols, all three are designed to be ultra light and compact, perfect for everyday carry. Both the C and CS features the new smaller frame and grip module for shooters with smaller hands. Also, both the C and CS can be ordered with a fullsize grip (17 Rd) or the compact grip (15 Rd). Furthermore, all three variants have a host optics cut slide for the easy addition of the most popular pistol optics one the market. Like the RMRCC, RMR, RMR HD, SRO, Delta Point Pro, Holosun 509,508T/507C,407C and other compact optics. All models come with fiber optic front sight and removable rear optics sight plate. Their C comes standard with a 4 inch bull barrel, CS with a 3.5 inch bull barrel, and the original larger frame C2 sports a 3.9 inch bull barrel and uses traditional larger frame 16 round 2011 mags. Also, all three models can be ordered with a threaded barrel, perfect for your favorite suppressor or comp. So Basically, the Staccato-C is the same pistol as the CS but with a 1/2 inch longer barrel and both offer diffrent grip lengths for smaller or larger hands. while the original C2 only comes in one grip length and their larger 2011 grip module, which is not choice for people with smaller hands. So it basically boils down to what configuration you want. Both the C and CS frame are more compact over all, making them easier to conceal, and they where booth designed to replace the C2 and can out shoot the C2 in accuracy. So the C and CS are the clear choice for carry, unless you want the C2 for the larger 2011 mags.
Staccato – HD Review – C4X, C3.6, P4.5 and P4
All new Staccato’s, their latest HD P4 and HD P4.5 double stack 2011 pistols with totally reworked ergonomics for enhanced shootability. Both HD models (P4-P4.5) use 18 round glock pattern steel mecgar magazines instead of the traditional 2011 steel mags, which are easier to find and cheaper. Also both P4’s feature extended ambidextrous slide releases for easy slide manipulation and are perfect for either the right or left handed shooter. Really both models are exactly the same, except that the P4.5 has a front sight block that keeps the front sight fixed and adds extra weight in the front to reduce overall recoil. Both models have front cowitness rear sights, that sit in front of your optic instead of behind them and offer host optics plates for the most popular pistol optics one the market. Like the RMRCC, RMR, RMR HD, SRO, Delta Point Pro, Holosun 509,508T/507C,407C and other compact optics. Another great option for both the P4 and P4.5 is that they are offered in three packages, their Standard Package, Preferred Package and Premium Package. These packages offer extra Mags, Magwell, X-Series Serations, DLC coatings and nightsight options, with the premium package coming with all these upgrades included. So simple choose the package that best soots your needs and wants. Both pistols are great shooters, with the P4.5 coming on top with a fixed front sight and a faster cycling slide, but if you want a little more budget friendly option the P4 is great option. Next is the all new 2011 HD C3.6, Staccato’s all new compact carry pistol with a much lighter aluminum frame and shorter 3.6 inch bull barrel. The C3.6 is basically a short version of the HD P4, geared specifically for every day carry. The C3.6 is also offered in three diffrent packages just like the P4 and P4.5. So if your looking for a great EDC pistol, the HD C3.6 has three great options to choose from. I saved the best for last, their all new C4X 2011 pistol, Staccato’s all new flagship compact carry pistol, Know as “the mini XC” featuring a one piece 4 inch compensated barrel. Hands down the flatest shooting 2011 cary pistol made and its light weight aluminum frame makes it perfect for every day carry. Their C4X is also offered in three diffrent packages just like the C3.6, P4.5 and P4. So if your looking for the best EDC pistol, the C4X is the one.
