The Kimber Talkeetna Rifle is chambered in the heavy-duty .375 H&H Magnum, built to take on the harsh and unpredictable weather of the Alaskan wilderness. Reliable and rugged, it is the perfect weapon for taking down big or dangerous game like Moose or Grizzly bears. Featuring single-leaf express sights, the receiver has been drilled and tapped to install scopes and/or optics. Additional features include the 24 inch Stainless Steel barrel, a reinforced carbon fiber stock, and swivel studs for a sling.
Each Kimber Talkeetna weighs in at only 7 pounds 12 ounces, making it portable enough for the rough terrain. As well balanced as it is, it feels lighter than it actually is. Engineered with Kimber’s 8400 action, it acts like a push-feed action until the cartridge clears the magazine rails and is fed into the chamber. The full-length extractor takes over and snaps over the case rim. The Mauser style claw extractor grips the cartridge case and, combined with a fixed ejector, is flawless when set up correctly.
