The LWRC REPR MK2 308 Upper Receiver is LWRC’S propitiatory short stroke gas piston AR-10 Upper Receiver Platform. Designed to Fit only side charging REPR MK-II Rifles (It will not work with REPR MK-I, REPR MK-II Rear Charge Platforms). LWRC’s REPR MK-II 308 Complete Upper Receiver is optimized for longer range shots out to 1200yrds and has plenty of knock down power with its larger 30 caliber bullet. LWRC’s 308 Upper’s gas piston system is designed to divert the hot dirty gasses out of the upper receiver, keeping all of your internals cool as can be. This eliminates failure of internals due to excessive heat and fouling.
LWRC REPR MK2 308 Upper Receiver comes with LWRCi’s 16 inch or 20 inch precision Spiral Fluted Steel Barrel. It’s heavy profile spiral fluted barrel is Nicorr treated, Nicorr treatment more than doubles the life of the barrel over traditional chrome lining. Furthermore, its spiral fluted is more ridged, 20 percent lighter and dissipates heat much faster than a none fluted barrel. Every LWRC REPR MK-II 308/7.62 Upper Receiver comes standard with a 20 position adjustable gas block and features LWRC’s super strong short stroke gas piston system to deliver unparalleled reliability and ease of maintenance. LWRCi’s adjustable gas system allows you to close the gas piston system, to shoot like a bolt action rifle, or Hand charge each shot individual. Also, it gives the shooter the ability to fine tune their gas-system for different ammunition grain weights and suppressor combinations.
