Based on its predecessor, the MCX Virtus, the Sig Sauer MCX Spear LT Rifle is also available in a 5.56 caliber. This newest SIG SPEAR LT also possesses a lighter handguard and lighter profile barrel that provides improved accuracy. Additional features include an ambidextrous bolt catch/release on the lower, coyote anodized finish, minimalist stock for maximum compact foldability, and an AR15 style compatible trigger.
