The Volquartsen 22LR SF-1 Rifle is their most unique rifle to date! Offering snake fluting, it is not a straight flute, nor a spiral flute but a hybrid of the two. Features of the hybrid include more heat dissipation, due to its increased surface area and at the same time it is more rigid than spiral flutes. This innovative design also includes an installed, Forward Blow Compensator providing recoil free shooting and the noise is directed downrange. Bolt action accuracy, the mission of Volquartsen, begins with the barrel. Featuring match bore and chamber tolerances, the dimensions have evolved from over 25 years of testing, and are proprietary to Volquartsen. Engineered with digital, gauging equipment, each barrel is ensured to meet the stringent criteria required for the 22LR SF-1 Rifle.
