A 12 micron 640×512 thermal detector is the primary engine within the main thermal viewing channel. Owning an industry leading sensitivity rating of sub-20mK (millikelvin), this sensor ensures that human-sized heat signatures are detectable up to 1.6 miles. Foliage and background imagery is crisp and detailed in closer ranges. Towering above other thermal binoculars on the market, the Voyage is equipped with a digital night vision channel that aides in target recognition after the potential target has been detected.
