The Surefire X300U-A is machined of aerospace aluminum making the body rugged, and the Mil-Spec hard anodized coating provides scratch and corrosion resistance. It is sealed to make it weatherproof, and Surefire has made the X300A waterproof, with an IPX7 rating, adding to the excellence of this weapon light. Shooters have a choice of black or tan finishes.
