The all new HK P8 A1 Pistol, the standard sidearm of the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) is now available in a limited edition. HK’s P8 A1 is based on their USP (Universal Self-loading Pistol) that was originally adopted by the Bundeswehr in 1994. A unique configuration, specifically designed for the Bundeswehr, includes translucent magazines, a reversed safety/decocker lever (down indicates ‘safe’ and up indicates ‘fire’, the opposite of the standard USP), and the ‘S’ and ‘F’ letters are printed on the frame, instead of onto the lever. Additionally, the P8 A1 has a traditional lands-and grooves barrel instead of a polygonal barrel. HK also includes a certificate of authenticity with every P8 A1 Pistol purchased. Every collector will want to add this amazingly unique pistol to their arsenal.
