SIG Sauer’s Electro-Optics X-RAY high visibility day/night sights along with a a reduced and contoured Elite beavertail that allows for a higher grip, and a reduced profile are also included to assist in reducing printing. SIG added a more aggressive front strap checkering and additional checkering under the trigger guard to enhanced griping on every P229 Legion. Additionally, a well thought out X-Five undercut has been applied to the trigger guard providing a higher grip and greater control. Every 229 Legion is also equipped with enhanced front cocking serrations that will ease racking the firearm and press checks. Standard features on every Sig P229 Legion SAO is low profile de-cocking and slide catch levers reducing the risk of snagging on clothing and other items.
