Every M11-A1 comes with a black hard-coat finish over an alloy frame and treated with SIG’s Nitron finish on the stainless slide. All internal parts, controls, are covered with phosphate for extreme corrosion resistance to natures toughest elements and also aids in the reduction of friction. Sig’s P229 M11-AI’s barrel is finished in Nitron which out performs the chrome lined barrel, while adding accuracy and assists this weapon to pass the Military’s accuracy requirements with ease, even after 20,000 rounds. As if that wasn’t enough it also passed the 240-hour salt spray corrosion test. Standard features on the Sig Sauer M11-A1 include SIGLITE night sights along with front strap vertical serrations.
