The Springfield Hellion 5.56 Rifle represents a unique and innovative approach to firearm design. Featuring a “bullpup” configuration (where the action is located behind the trigger), it sports a full 16-inch barrel. With an overall length of 28.25 to 29.75 inches, it weights only eight pounds. Maneuverability is kin to that of a CQB-style firearm, with a bonus of ballistics of a full-size carbine.

Springfield Hellion 5.56 Rifle operates on a short-stroke gas piston design with a rotating bolt, keeping the system running cool and clean. Additional features include; a five-point adjustable buttstock, a two-position gas regulator with ‘normal’ and ‘suppressed’ modes. Built-in, high-quality, flip-up iron sights are integrated with the top strip of the Picatinny rail, are sturdy, easy to use, and are completely out of the way when down. This pistol is completely ambidextrous, from the safety selector and non-reciprocating charging handle, to the user-adjustable ejection port.
