The VKTR VK-1 Rifle is a high end gas piston AR 15 Rifle, its low profile short stroke gas piston system is designed to keep the hot dirty gases out of the upper receiver. Its self regulated gas piston system also significantly reduces muzzle rise, making follow up shots alot easier to keep on target. This VK-1 Rifle is Outfitted with a 16 inch cold hammer forged nitride treated barrel, Its nitride barrel treatment last twice as long as standard chrome lining and out performs it in every aspect. Furthermore, the Barrel is machined thicker between the barrel extension and gas block, this allows extra room for its deep straight barrel flutes. These straight flutes aid in barrel cooling and improves barrel rigidity. Furthermore, its M-LOK handguard can be quickly removed via its allen screw located at the base of the handguard, this gives access to the barrel and gas piston components. Also, its precision fitted gas block is removable, via a QD detent gas block pin, once the gas block pin is removed, you can easily remove the gas block by hand. Perfect to access its one piece gas piston rod, spring and spring cup for service or cleaning. Another huge upgrade to the VK-1 Rifle, is its solid one piece bolt carrier design with thin dense chrome plating. It’s one piece bolt design, eliminates the weak points found in tradition AR 15 bolt carries.

Each VKTR VK-1 Rifle comes with a fully ambidextrous forged lower receiver, featuring low profile billet machined controls and a patented machined magazine release. This Ambi lower is perfect for either a left handed or right handed shooter. Only the VKTR VK-1 13.7 inch Rifle comes with a Dead Air NOX Pinned and Welded to the barrel for a total length of 16 inches.
